Alexander Albrecht’s most recent work includes Sky Atlantic series LITTLE BIRDS by Stacie Passon (House of Cards, Transparents), Netflix series THE QUEENS GAMBIT by Scott Frank and Germany’s Ufa Fiction series KU’DAMM 63 by Sabine Bernardi. In January 2020 he premiered on stage in Zurich with his one man mono drama DER SCHUSS – Alexander Puschkin’s classic directed by Lioudmila Meier-Babkina (Klassische Bühnenkunst Zürich).

AA is one of those people who immediately leaves a great impression on you. He was born and raised in Switzerland, but was never limited by any kind of borders. He lived in different places, including New York (where he attended acting courses in the well-established Susan Batson Studio) & Mexico City. AA is creative in many languages, such as Swiss, German, English, Italian, Spanish & French. He is based in Berlin.

His performative value can also be seen outside on-screen performances, namely in theater. He performed WHITE NIGHTS written by a young F. M. Dostoyevsky on several stages in 2016/17 and astounded his audience with his precise character work. AA is also regularly on tour with his two man show THE MYSTERY OF IRMA VEP, which staged successfully every evening at the legendary at.tension #8 2019 theater festival.

Being a world citizen translates in living by the principals of unity and diversity. These values are always portrayed in his international work. Other on-screen experience of his include NACHTEXPRESS, JULIA´S DISAPPEARANCE, AMERICAN CURIOUS, THE COACHMEN, GZSZ and STADTHELDEN.

Not only does he create characters internally, he has also written and produced a short film together with Lucia Carreras and Machete Producciones, with which they attended many Festivals worldwide and enjoyed reactions and questions from their audience about this bizarre piece of work; LA BODA DE BABA.

He currently lives in Berlin and is represented by IMPERIUM TALENT AGENCY BERLIN.
